CU Shibir President Mostafizur Rahman is among the 100 named in the case filed by the Hathazari Police SI Nurul Hakim under the Explosives Act on Tuesday.

Hathazari Police OC Ismail Hossain said another 130 unidentified people were mentioned to have been involved too. They have also been accused of hindering police work.

Student wing members of Jamaat-e-Islami and the ruling Awami League’s Bangladesh Chhatra League fired and blasted bombs during a clash at the university playground on Sunday.
Police dispersed the clashing groups by firing blank shots and tear shells.
A raid on the ‘Shibir-dominated’ Suhrawardy Hall unearthed 13 petrol bombs, a machete, and stones.
Authorities later decided to shut the hall down.
