3 lynched in Noakhali
Angry locals at Noakhali's Kabirhat Upazila lynched three men in the wee hours of Saturday, suspecting them to be robbers.

The district's Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Elias Sharif said that four others were injured in the brawl at Dhanshiri Union's Nabagram village.
According to the police official, locals encircled 10 to 12 miscreants, who went to rob a house in the area around 2.30 am.
Seven of the robbers were detained and beaten up by the locals. Two of them died on the spot.
Police rescued the remaining five and took them to the hospital. One of them died around 9am.
Two fire arms, few rounds of ammunition and some sharp weapons were recovered from the spot, said SP Sharif.
