bdnews24.com's Sanjay Kumar Das and Maasranga Television's Patuakhali Correspondent Md Jalil surrendered in court and sought bail on Tuesday.

The court of Patuakhali's Judicial Magistrate Tapan Kumar Dey ignored their pleas and sent them to jail.

Das was investigating the auction of various obsolete equipment and materials including those of a Bailey bridge by the RHD in Patuakhali.

The bdnews24.com investigation did not find address of three firms which won the auction. They are Nazma Enterprise, Gazi Trading Corporation and Karnaphuli Engineering.
