AL leader shot in front of home in Dhaka
A local Awami League leader in Dhaka's Sutrapur has been shot in front of his own home, police and family members said.

Md Shaheed, the party's Sutrapur unit general secretary, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after the incident on Tuesday evening.
DMCH Police Outpost's ASI Haider Ali said Sayeed had bullet wounds in his stomach and right arm.
The husband of Shaheed's niece Md Shakil said the attack took place in front of Sayeed's home in Debendranath Das Lane around 10:45pm.
Shaheed was returning home on his motorcycle. When he stopped in front of his home, four unidentified men on two motorcycles shot him and sped away.
He was taken to Mitford Hospital first and to DMCH from there.
