About 20 producers from Meghalaya are expected to exhibit their products, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka has said.

High Commissioner Pankaj Saran will inaugurate the exhibition that will bring together buyers of horticulture produce such as hotels, supermarket chains, stores and the producers, cutting costs for the consumer.

The High Commission is expecting that several buyers will travel to Sylhet to see the display, organised jointly by the department of horticulture of the Meghalaya government and the National Skills Foundation of India in collaboration with High Commission of India in Dhaka.

Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haque Choudhury and Meghalaya government’s Principal Secretary for agriculture Pochister Kharkongor will also join the exhibition at the Metro Hotel International.
