Foreign currencies worth Tk 3.4mn seized at Dhaka airport
Customs officials have detained a passenger with a lot of foreign currency in possession on Sunday.

Foreign currencies worth Tk 3.4 million were found from one Sushankar Mallik, 27, who landed in Dhaka on a Malaysian Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur.
Customs Assistant Commissioner Nahida Akter said: "Foreign currencies worth Tk 3.4 million which included Saudi riyals, UAE dirhams, Malaysian ringgits and US dollars, were found in Mallik's luggage and shoes. He was searched at Boarding Bridge-16 area as he evoked our suspicion."
