The incident occurred around 11:30pm on Wednesday
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid told reporters on Thursday that on Aug 13, the results for the exams would be declared.
A total of 1,141,378 students appeared for the exams from Apr 3 to 16 June this year.
The minister said the results were being published within two months from the end of the exams.
Nahid said he, accompanied by education board chairmen, would hand over copies of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gonobhaban on Aug 13 at 10 am.
Later at 1 pm, the detailed results would be published at a press conference at the Secretariat.
The government faced much criticism over leakage of question papers.
The HSC English (second paper) exams had to be rescheduled for alleged leakage.
