ASI dies of injury
An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police has died of bullet injuries received during a raid to seize illegal firearms in Tangail.

Md Nurul Islam was deputed at Tangail Sadar Model Police Station.
The station's OC Aktaruzzaman said Islam was shot on his chest once and twice on his hand during the raid at the town's Purba Adalat Parha around midnight on Friday.
He was first rushed to Tangail Medical College and Hospital and later transferred to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
He died while undergoing treatment around 11:30am on Saturday.
The OC said they conducted raid on a tip-off at the house of 'Ulka', son of late Farid Hossain of Purba Adalat Parha, to seize illegal guns.
He said police were raiding to arrest those involved in the shooting.
