Man held with 17,000 Yaba tablets
Police have arrested a man with 17,500 pieces of banned popular club-drug Yaba from Reazuddin Bazar in Chittagong.

"Atikul Islam, 22, was nabbed from a room on the 6th floor of Bismillah Complex on Chaitanya Lane in the early hours of Tuesday," CMP's Kotowali zone Assistant Commissioner Shah MD Abdur Rauf told bdnews24.com.

He was living in that room, Rauf said. Islam hails from Barumchhorha village at Anwara Upazila.
The police official said two others had managed to flee.
The Yaba pills were found wrapped in several plastic packets, Rauf said.
He added that during preliminary questioning, the youth has confessed to his involvement in selling the club-drug in the port city.
