bKash agents mugged in Rangpur
Miscreants have robbed bKash agents of Tk 925,000 at gun point in Kownia, Rangpur. The incident took place around 1:30 pm in Chotopool area,Tuesday.

OC of Kownia Police Station Abdul Latif Mia said, "Two staffs of bKash's Rangpur distributor Maidul Hasan and Obaidullah were going to Haragach on a motor bike. Six miscreants waiting beside the road at Chotopool shot at them. When they fell off the bike, the miscreants pounced on them and snatched away the money they had collected pointing gun at their heads. Police found one round of empty bullet on the spot."
bKash staff Maidul said,"Miscreants waylaid us while we were on our way to Haragach bKash office. We fell off the bike out of fear when they shot at us. They then took away our money at gun point. They also shot 4 to 5 rounds when locals chased them."
Police Super Abdur Razzak said, "After hearing the news, we visited the spot. OC of Kownia Police Station, District DB and District SB have been instructed to recover the money and arrest the muggers."
