The foreign ministry said the top US diplomat in a letter mentioned the richness and diversity of Muslim communities that he believed can bring all together.
“The richness and diversity of Muslim communities reminds us of the bonds that tie and bring all of us together, strengthening the bridges of our shared humanity,” read the letter, according to a foreign ministry statement.
Foreign Minister Ali thanked Kerry and also conveyed his Eid greetings.
