20 injured in Sarail clash
A clash between two groups has left 20 injured in Sarail Upazila, Brahmanbaria.

Sarail Police Station OC Arshad Ali said an altercation between former chairman Montaj Ali’s men and Ashraf Ali’s supporters over paying CNG-rickshaw fare had flared into a clash. The incident took place at Bitghar, in Panishwar union, around 12:30 pm.
“People on both sides fought each other with home-made kitchen tools.”
Police intervention calmed frayed nerves an hour later. Additional police had been deployed in the area.
OC Arshad said the injured had not been admitted to any hospital to evade arrest.
