1 dies in Manikchharhi shooting
One person has been killed and two others injured in a shootout between the Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS) and United Peoples Democratic Front (UPDF), police have said.

Manikchari Police Station OC Shafiqul Islam told bdnews24.com that the incident took place at Kalidash, in Kumaripara, at around 7am on Friday.
Sindukchari army camp commander Lt Col Rabbi Hasan said police and army personnel had rushed to the troubled area.
The identity of the dead was not yet known, the OC said.
The injured have been identified as Shanti Chakma, 20, and Ananda Chakma, 30. Shantu Larma-led PCJSS claimed them to be its followers.
President of PCJSS in Manikchari Upazila told bdnews24.com that the two bullet-hit PCJSS members had been sent to the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
The UPDF, however, denied any involvement in the incident.
