Tasneem new envoy to Thailand
The foreign ministry’s director general of the UN wing Saida Muna Tasneem is going to be the new Bangladesh ambassador in Thailand.

The foreign ministry earlier posted ambassador in Thailand Kazi Imtiaz Hossain to Australia as part of its ongoing shuffling in Bangladesh missions.
Tasneem earlier served in Bangladesh Permanent Mission to the UN in New York and Bangladesh mission in London in various capacities, the foreign ministry said announcing her new appointment’s decision.
She studied engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and later had her masters’ degree in public policy and management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
A career diplomat, Tasneem belongs to the 11th batch of BCS Foreign Affairs Cadre.
