Two-year old victim, ‘Ruhan’, was the son of Basit Mia, a resident of the colony.

SI Omar Faruque of Sreemangal Police Station told bdnews24.com, “Ruhan was last seen playing in front of his home on July 8. Since then there was no trace of him.”
His family members found his body in a drain behind the toilet at his grandfather’s house on Sunday morning, the police official said.
Police later sent the body to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Omar Faruque said, “Prima facie we suspect that the child was strangled to death.”
