The siblings, Swapan and Milon Syal, were victims of a June 21 missile attack in Benghazi.

A Turkish Airlines flight, carrying the bodies, landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday morning, the airport's expatriate's welfare desk assistant director Jahidul Islam said.

Their bodies reached their native village of Saberparha, Kodalpur Union around noon. Their janaza was held after the Jumma prayers, after which they were buried in their family graveyard.

Swapan, who was from Shariatpur, had gone to Libya in 2010 and his brother followed him two years later. They worked at a water purification plant, Jahidul said.
The expatriate welfare ministry gave the family Tk 70,000 to bring the bodies and hold the funeral.
Villagers of Saberparha were overwhelmed with grief when the bodies arrived. The family said the brothers had promised to join them for Eid celebrations.
Swapan left behind a three-year-old son named Sabbir.
