Robbers hack teen to death
A teenager was killed and ten others injured by armed robbers who raided five homes in two villages at Munshiganj’s Sirajdikhan.

The dead victim, Rinku Shil, was only 16 and lived in Sekharnagar Dakkhinhati village.
The others have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital with wounds inflicted by bullets and sharp weapons.
Superintendant of Police Md Zakir Hossain Majumder said they arrested five suspects after homes were attacked in Tegharia and Sekharnagar Dakkhinhati on Sunday night.
“20 to 25 masked robbers in half-pants attacked five homes including those of Anwar Hossain, Dilip Shil, Bhakta Mallik, Sirajul Islam at around 2am,” said SP Hossain.
They first entered Anwar Hossain’s home in Tegharia and wounded four including his son ‘Sajib’, 32.
But when the robbers moved on to Sekharnagar Dakkhinhati the villagers chased them with local weapons and police joined soon afterwards.
The robbers fired from shotguns as they fled.
But they hacked at Rinku on the way, before fleeing through Arial Beel.
