Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Maruf Hossain ordered him to jail after rejecting the bail prayer on Tuesday.

Sabuj’s wife, ‘Sanjida’, made a general diary with the Ramna Police Station after he went missing on his way to office at Moghbazar from Mirpur on April 26.
Later, his father Abdur Rahim lodged a case with the Mirpur police, accusing Monwar and several employees of Jaaz Multimedia.
Though Monwar was grilled in custody, police could not trace Sabuj in the nine days since the kidnapping.
Mirpur police began the investigation but it was later passed on to the Detective Branch.
DB’s Senior ASP Touhidul Islam told bdnews24.com that they were in the process of gathering information from Sabuj’s colleagues.
The victim’s brother, Ali Akbor Milton, told bdnews24.com that messages were sent from Sabuj’s cell-phone number (01912352552) to his three friends’ numbers (01790478515, 01911357243 and 01917736412) asking for ransom.

The message read: “Director Shaheen Sumon and his associates have kidnapped me. They are asking for Tk 100 million in ransom.”
Milton said the messages asked them not to inform police about the abduction.
It said: “They (the captors) are observing everything. Don’t annoy them. Otherwise they will kill me. Account with an Indian bank will be given for depositing the ransom.”
When asked, Sumon denied his involvement in the incident. “Someone is conspiring against me. I’m in no way involved. Someone is doing this to defame me,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jaaz Multimedia has protested the arrest of Monwar.
In a press conference on Sunday, the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer Montahedul Liton Khandker said Monwar become the victim of a conspiracy.
