Indian caught with gold
BGB have detained an Indian national from Benapole with contraband gold.

Putul Rani, 35, hails from West Bengal’s South 24 Pargana, they said.
The border guards, after receiving a tip-off, caught up with her near the 26 main pillar at Ghiba border area, said Lt Col Motiur Rahman, commander of Jessore 26 BGB Battalion.
The five gold bars found in her possession will be handed over to customs, he said.
She is now in the custody of Benapole Port Police Station, where a case has been filed.
