The BSF patrol tried to attack a house near the Dhabalguri border, but retreated when the locals gathered in strength.

According to locals, the BSF took away at least 12 goats grazing in the fields nearby before they left.

Zenghra Union Parishad member Nazrul Islam said that the BSF chased a youth, who was working in a field on the border. The BSF cordoned off the house of one Sirajul, alleging the youth had taken shelter there.
But the locals mobilised in some numbers and chased them away.
Deputy Commander of Border Guard Bangladesh’s (BGB) Rangpur-7 Battalion, Major Ruhul Amin said that a flag-meeting between the BGB and the BSF was held, where the Indian authorities have denied any violation of the border.
