Upazila Executive Officer Md Abdullah said the decision was taken following allegations of irregularities and takeover of polling centre.

Abdullah, also the assistant returning officer, said a press conference would be held soon in this connection.

Voting is being held in 73 Upazilas in this phase of the polls that started at 8am on Monday and will continue until 4pm.
