2 killed in Dhaka road crashes
Two persons have died in two separate road accidents at Motijheel and Mirpur in Dhaka.

The dead have been identified as Islam Shikdar, 45, an auto-rickshaw driver, and Md Shahjahan, 34, a rickshaw-puller.
Shikdar died in a collision between a truck and his vehicle in Motijheel early on Tuesday morning, said Motijheel Police Station SI Nazrul Islam.
Hailing from Narsinghdi, he lived in Dhaka’s Mugda.
Police seized the truck but the driver managed to flee.
Rickshaw-puller Shahjahan was run over by a truck near a roundabout at Mirpur-1 around 1.30am on Tuesday.
As the truck rammed the rickshaw, Shahjahan fell on the road and was killed on the spot, Mirpur Police Station SI Afzal Hossain said.
Shahjahan lived in Pallabi.
The bodies have been sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
