Rangamati policeman killed by colleague
A police constable has died after being shot by his colleague in Rangamati.

Rangamati’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Amena Begum said that the shooting took place around 9:30am at the Baghaihat police camp of Baghaichhara Upazila.
Constable Anwar Hossain, 20, was rushed to the Dighinala Army Camp Hospital with gunshot wounds. Later he was airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Chittagong where he died.
Meanwhile, constable Mostafiz, 28, who fired on Hossain, has been kept confined at the Baghaihat police camp.
Sajek Police Station OC SM Azizul Haque told bdnews24.com that Mostafiz fired a few rounds following a heated exchange with Hossain over hot water.
Hossain was hit in the stomach and thigh, he said.
SP Amena Begum said that constable Mostafiz was being brought in to the Sazek Police station.
