40 gold bars seized at Dhaka airport
Customs officials have recovered 40 gold bars worth Tk 20 million from a toilet at the Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

The gold bars weighing around 4.5 kg were found inside the toilet’s flush on Tuesday morning, said Md Alamgir Hossain, senior assistant superintendent of Armed Police Battalion at the airport.
Nobody was detained so far in this connection.
On Feb 19, 40 gold bars were seized from a cleaner at the same airport.
The next day customs officials seized gold bars weighing 21 kg from Shahjalal Airport in two separate hauls.
There have been several cases of gold seizures both at the Dhaka and Chittagong airports since the middle of last year.
