Mob kills robber in Sylhet
A man, suspected to be robber, was lynched to death in Sylhet’s Jointapur.

Abul Hossain, 28, died while undergoing treatment at Sylhet Osmani Medical College and Hospital on Sunday morning.
He was severely beaten up by locals after he allegedly attempted to rob a house in the Upazila’s Umonpur area on Saturday night.
Jointapur Station OC Harunur Rashid said 12 to 15 robbers entered a house in Umonpur at 2am.
People called the mosque which used its loudspeakers to alert the whole locality, asking them to stop the robbers.
The locals chased the robbers and managed to catch two of them.
Abul Hossain and Nazir Uddin was then rescued from the mob and hospitalized but Hossain succumbed to his wounds.
