The airline has bought a Boeing-737 aircraft from the United States, which is scheduled to arrive in May.

Imran Asif, CEO of Regent Airways, said, “The Boeing-737 is set to arrive in the first week of May. After that we have to complete some formalities with Civil Aviation Authority which will take about two weeks.”

Regent will fly internationally soon after the formalities are completed, he said.
“We will operate flights to four destinations primarily. They are – Kuala Lampur, Hong Kong, Sinagpore and Bangkok.”
The carrier will begin with regular flights to Kuala Lampur, said its CEO.
“We will have one flight to Kuala Lampur each day and four flights each for Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok every week.”
Regent Airways opened its doors to passengers on domestic routes in November, 2010. The airline has been flying to and from Chittagong, Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar and Jessore with two Dash-8 aircraft at its disposal.
Regent will soon join public carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines and private carrier United Airways who have been flying on international routes.
