Cox's Bazar, Feb 05 (bdnews24.com) – The head of Chittagong central jail on Friday died in a road accident in Cox's Bazar, said the police.
Mostafizur Rahman, 25, is the acting superintendent of Chittagong Central Jail died on the spot, said officer-in-charge Dulhazra highway police check post Mamun Mia.
The crash took place at 8.00pm as the micro-bus carrying some people, including him, plunged into a ditch in Dulhazra Safari Park. The micro-bus was heading for Chittagong from Cox's Bazar, he said.
Four more people were injured in the crash and taken to Chittagong for treatment. None of them were reported to critical, he said.
