Over 50 injured in clash

A clash at Telinagar village between two groups of villagers left over 50 people injured Wednesday in Sadar upazila of the district.

Brahmanbaria, Nov 1 (bdnews24.com) – A clash at Telinagar village between two groups of villagers left over 50 people injured Wednesday in Sadar upazila of the district.
At least 10 houses were damaged and looted during the clash, locals said.
Witnesses said the clash ensued at about 11.30am between the groups of Mati Mia and Mati Sardar of the village.
Of the inured, condition of five persons was stated to be critical. They were undergoing treatment at the Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital.
Police fired five rounds of bullets to bring the situation under control.
Additional contingents of police were deployed in the area.
