22 killed, 30 injured in five separate road mishaps, Compiled (Update)

At least 22 people, including 12 members of a bridal party, were killed and 30 others injured in five separate road accidents in Habiganj, Moulavibazar, Sylhet and Jhenidah districts Friday.

Dhaka, July 7 (BDNEWS) – At least 22 people, including 12 members of a bridal party, were killed and 30 others injured in five separate road accidents in Habiganj, Moulavibazar, Sylhet and Jhenidah districts Friday.
BDNEWS Habiganj correspondent reports: Twelve people were killed when a microbus carrying a bridal party collided head-on with a coach of Gulf Air at Joydevpur in Bahubal upazila in the district.
Among the deceased, 11 died on the spot and one on the way to hospital.
Critically injured seven others were rushed to Habiganj Sadar Hospital. The identities of the deceased and injured could be known immediately.
BDNEWS Sylhet correspondent adds: Three persons were killed in a head-on-collision between two trucks at Lalabazar on Dhaka–Sylhet highway early Friday.
BDNEWS Moulvibazar correspondent reports: Two people were killed and four others injured when an express train hit an auto-rickshaw at a crossing near Shamshernagar airport in Moulvibazar at about 9.30 am.
The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Amjad Hossain, 50, and Nobijan Bibi, 40. The four others were rushed to hospital.
BDNEWS Jhenidah correspondent adds: Four labourers were killed and 10 injured as a brick-laden truck overturned at Tattipur in Kaliganj upazila of the district district.
The victims are identified as Sujan (22), Ruhul Amin (25), Babu (23) and Shahidul (26).
Local and police sources said the truck turned-turtle on its way from Tattipur brick kiln to Kaliganj upazila headquarters.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals in Kaliganj and Jessore.
Meanwhile, a youth was killed and 10 other people were injured when a Dhaka–Chougachha bound bus hit a wayside tree as its driver lost control over steering.
Seriously injured Jamal, helper of the bus, succumbed to his wounds at Jessore General Hospital. He hailed from village Sadipur in Chougacha.
The injured were admitted to the local hospitals and clinics.
