Bangladeshi farmer shot dead in Benapole border

Indian border security force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi farmer at Ghiba in Benapole border in Jessore early Thursday.

Jessore, Nov 3 (BDNEWS) - Indian border security force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi farmer at Ghiba in Benapole border in Jessore early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Samsur Rahman of Dhankhola village in Sharsha upazila.
Local BDR commanding officer said, BSF of Shutia camp fired 2/3 rounds of bullet tergeting Bangladeshi farmers, including Samsur Rahman, who were were working in a paddy field. Samsur recieved bullet and died on the spot.
BSF took away his body, said the survivors.
On information, BDR personnel rushed to the spot and held a flag meeting with BSF, and demanaded of his body back.
BDR will send a protest letter to BSF in this regard, sources said.
