AL, BNP rallies at same venue, 144 imposed in Sirajganj
Rallies of BNP and AL could not be held at Chhongachha union in Sadar Upazila of the district Monday as the district administration imposed section 144 following calling of meetings by the two rival parties at the same venue.

Sirajganj, June 20 (BDNEWS) – Rallies of BNP and AL could not be held at Chhongachha union in Sadar Upazila of the district Monday as the district administration imposed section 144 following calling of meetings by the two rival parties at the same venue.
AL, later, held the rally at the Phulkocha Primary School ground under the same union.
AL called a rally at 3pm Monday at the Chhongasa Union playground protesting the attack on the budget session of the Chhongasa Union Parishad.
On the other hand, BNP called a views-exchange meeting at the same venue at the same time.
Earlier, a group of 10 to 12 terrorists attacked on the budget session of the UP on June 11 leaving several people, including Union AL general secretary, SM Jinnah injured.
