Woman commits suicide in Faridpur
A woman committed suicide Monday after hearing the news of her son's death at West Khabaspur of Faridpur town.

Faridpur, May 23 (BDNEWS) – A woman committed suicide Monday after hearing the news of her son's death at West Khabaspur of Faridpur town.
The local people and family sources of the deceased said that Chandan Das (17), son of Rabindranath Das and owner of a laundry at West Khabaspur was an apprentice in a jewellery factory.
His mother Anna Rani Das scolded him on Sunday night, as he did not go to the factory for the last few days. Being upset she took acid on that night.
He was admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where he died early Monday. After hearing the new of his death, his mother Anna Rani Das committed suicide at about 8:30 am Monday taking 'Gul' (burnt tobacco used as a dentifrice).
Rabindranath Das has become speechless after losing his son and wife.
