Extremists slaughter one in Chuadanga

Chuadanga, April 12 (BDNEWS) – Mitha (22), an active member of Purba Banglar Communist Party Janajuddha faction, was slaughtered in a maize field at Sarishadanga village of Chuadanga sadar upazila at 9 pm Monday.
In a statement sent to the local daily Mathabhanga, a regional leader of an extremist organisation Purbabangla Communist Party (M-L) Robi admitted the responsibility of the killing on behalf of his party.
Mitha was engaged in unethical activities, the statement added.
Hearing the news, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
