A father kicked to death his 28 year old daughter in Singria village under Phulchhari upazila Saturday night after she refused a marriage proposal.

Gaibandha, April 3 (BDNEWS): A father kicked to death his 28 year old daughter in Singria village under Phulchhari upazila Saturday night after she refused a marriage proposal.
Witnesses said Manzila Begum was divorced by her husband one year ago and took shelter at her father's home. Her father Mofizul Haq tried to marry her off again but she did not agree to the proposal.
On Saturday Mofizul kicked Manzila on her chest at one stage of altercation over the marriage proposal. Seriously injured Manzila was admitted into Phulchhari upazila health complex where she died.
Police has arrested her father Mofizul Haq.
