Artists and artisans come together at the Faculty of Fine Art to make masks and floats for the Pohela Boishakh procession
The ‘sweet damsel’ of Bangla silver screen will be present from 3pm on Tuesday at bdnews24 publishing limited (bpl) stall No. 65-66 at the Book Fair.
She will interact with readers and sign her memoirs titled 'Smriti Tuku Thaak’ published by the bpl.
The fair will remain open until 8pm.
Her memoirs are flying off the shelves and have drawn a huge crowd since its launch on Saturday.
Leading poet Nirmalendu Goon, in a rave review of Smriti Tuku Thaak, has written: “While going through the manuscript of the memoirs of the legendary actress Kabori; I was struck by the thought that I was reading the autobiography of a poet.”
